day 1

wow oh wow i learned alot last night in regards to eating to help my body work at its peak. an hour of information at Ray of Light Holistic Health turned the light on the fuel i put in my body and how it effects the way it works. alkaline vs. acidic. 75 percent fruits & veggies 25 percent meats grains and dairy.

hmmmmm.

i know i am looking at my fuel differently today. i also know i don't have to do this all at once. being gentle and making subtle changes one at a time will help this way of thinking and eating sink in and become habit, and not turn this bit of info into New Year's Resolution Syndrome. just add one helping of veggies or fruits per day or meal and it should stick!

Spinach and Avocadoes: alkaline
Eggs and Cheese and GF Muffins: acid

but i gotta say, there are two servings of veggies that wouldn't have been there before.
