this dishwater has been sitting in the kitchen sink for hours. she finished dishes two hours ago.
to be able to use the sink, one must dunk their hand into the cold water to drain the water, clean out the sink, and begin your work. its not like this dishwater is useable in its current state. you couldn't just add hot water to this to be able to use it.
my mother could be the star of the "Queen of Clean" tv show in every other aspect of the house. she has a routine she sticks to religiously with respect to household chores. she dusts on one specific day, vacuums on another, cleans the bathrooms on yet another.
yet, on a nearly daily basis, if you walk into our kitchen, this is what you'll find.
