for some reason, between appointments today, i thought i'd head to the Notre Dame bookstore to purchase this year's student shirt. cool enough shirt:
anyway, i knew in the back of my mind that TOMORROW was the game against Michigan, one of our biggest rivalries. i guess i didn't think campus would be all that more busy than a normal day.
i was wrong.
holy crap! they had traffic cops moving cars in and out of the bookstore parking lot. there were charter busses lined up to let their passengers off to plunk down their hard-earned cash for anything and everything with a ND logo on it.
it really made me giggle. one, for MY silliness in thinking i could just get in and get out in a few minutes. and two, cuz this place really DOES hold magic for many thousands of people...and it's right in my backyard!!
