the first football Saturday of the 2008-09 season for the Fighting Irish. less than a half-hour to kickoff. sunshine, 72 degrees, gorgeous Saturday and i am camped out in front of the television.i’m outfitted in my #9 Tommy Zibikowski jersey, got a cold beer (for the first time in THREE YEARS!) and am ready to see ND kick off a winning season! since our opponents are the Aztecs of San Diego State…better known as one of THE California State party schools, i am hopeful. GO IRISH!!!
