80 hours of the 80's

all this weekend VH1 classic is crazy for the eighties. i just saw two videos from the band Talk Talk...wow...some of these videos were total crap! i recall seeing this Talking Heads like it was yesterday. Tim and i were parked in front of the tv in the famliy room in Woodland, and we laughed our butts off. David Byrne doing the spastic thing made us double over in giggles.

right now they are showing an Andy Taylor (Duran Duran!) video from the movie American Anthem starring that really cute Olympic gymnast...i think his name was Mitch...and Wayne Gretsky's wife, Janet Jones. we did the premiere of that movie when i was at FM102. i think i may still have an American Anthem red duffle bag filled with aircheck cassettes packed away somewhere! most of these "song from the movie" videos are really bad, but they are making me laugh as well as cringe :)
