Dru Nicole is 16. Saturday August 2nd is the 16th anniversary of the day of her birth. she is the light of my life, even if she lives on the west coast and i don't see her every single day. thanks to my brother and sister-in-law being practical people, she has a cell phone, is a text-queen and sends me texts. she and i talk a few times a month, too.
i LOVE the young woman she has become. she's always been intelligent, but she is compassionate and loving, street-smart and a smart-alec, funny and random (her favorite word!).
i may be biased, but she is gorgeous and brilliant. pretty potent for only 16, huh?
